Bible Verse: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. John 14:27

I have this personal situation that up until this moment, keeps on bugging me. And so today I was once again reminded, as I read my devotion, that God leaves peace in our hearts whenever we turn to Him. All we could do is lift the situation to Him and let Him guide us on what is right to do to gain the peaceful heart.

A sophisticated all white look.

My inspiration for this look is Jodi Sta. Maria from her role being Amor Powers in Pangako Sa'yo, a teleserye in ABS-CBN. Ever since she played the role I became her big fan. She totally nailed the all white look in every episode of the teleserye.

Ouftit details:

Jumpsuit: GTW by SM Makati
Shoes: Slip on from Divisoria
Watch: Fossil
Necklace: Scapular (I bought it in Rome)

Photos were taken along the walk way outside Ayala Triangle.

Shot taken at Solaire

featuring Steven Briva

Year End Party in our company is organized every November, we usually celebrate it at the time when it is the Thanksgiving celebration in the U.S.A.

This year is my second time in attending the event. And so, this year I decided to wear a glamorous all white outfit that is a perfect fit for our bohemian slash coachella themed event.

Here's the details of my outfit (sorry I could not remember exact prices):

Top: True Love, SM Makati (Php 500)
Bottom: True Love, SM Makati (Php 500)
Sleeveless Body Cover: Coco Cabana, SM Makati (Php 700)
Shoes: Parisian, Color Beige, SM Makati (Php 700)
Necklace and Headdress: wear.artcessories hand made by Krystene Erika Salac (Php200 each)
Bracelets: Divisoria (Php 50 each)

Yeah it's a bit pricey but I actually like dressing up in social events. Well I can find a way to still use these clothes someday in the future (like go to beaches or just at home LOL!)

I believe that the way you dress up shows your character and so expect that I dress up glamorously every year! *wink*

A perfect timing for the season of joy and giving. It's time to save a life.

Be a life saver by buying the LoveHopeFaith's watch! It's an affordable watch that costs Php 250 each. 50% of the net proceeds goes to the medication of the cancer patients. Buy 4 or more for free shipping. They have small and big watches. These are unisex watches. They do have a nice and simple packaging. It's very minimalist with a Black and White combination.

A little background about the group. LoveHopeFaith is an all-Filipino social enterprise that was funded as an instrument to provide care and assistance to a cancer patient. They aim to give joy and hope by providing stylish and affordable products to Filipinos and giving back to the community. They aspire to be an inspiration and a channel to empower the cancer patients and the communities they aid.

Remember that it's not just a watch, it's a charitable watch. You'll be buying it for a cause and for the benefits of the people that the group will be able to help. In a simple way, it's a blessed feeling that you can imagine when you bought a watch and you were able to help people. Those watches can be a giveaway to an event you're organizing, a Christmas gift, or could be you and your boyfriend's couple watch.

Aside from the Life Saver Watches, they also sell other items such as Life Saver Shirts and Bags. The group warrants the workmanship and all parts of this products against materials or workmanship defects for a period of 1 month from the date of the original purchase of use.

My journey going to Italy was never easy.
It started out with an idea. There was a Forum, for Students who are in studying in Colleges and Universities, which theme was to support how friendship can be a bridge towards good citizenship. We are to make a research paper and video on how we could showcase application of the theme in the society. From there, we conceptualize and made it into action.

Our group focused on 'Eskwela'. An outreach program/volunteer work of Tahilan Residences and Study Center, a project of Philippines Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development, Inc. (PFCED) and assisted by Kalinangan Youth Foundation Inc.
Eskwela is a program where group of Volunteers, called Ates, are assigned to teach the less privileged children. Those are children who couldn't afford to go to school. Children are aged 3-14 years old.

Eskwela is held every month, every Saturday of the week. Volunteers makes a yearly education plan, which covers English, Math, Science, Arts and Catechism.

It was such a journey between my group mates and I since all from the start we were in different schools, different schedules and got lots of ideas that conflicts between how and what we're going to do to present an output that will eventually bring us to Rome.

The video was first presented here in the Philippines last January 2015 at the University of Asia and the Pacific. Then finally in Rome last April 2015.

I created a headband as for my summer project. Starter this out a week ago, and have been doing this everyday for thirty minutes to an hour. I made this headband since it's the summer season, every where's gonna be hot and untidy. So I decided do to something that would hassle free myself from doing and going to places. A headband that I could use when I feel that my hair is too messy and feeling sticky already, something that would put off the hair from my face.

And viola! Here it is!

What you'll need:

1. Yarn - From the project I did, I used the light cashmere blend popsicle. Check out the site of Gantsilyo Guru.

Yarn Specifications:
Color: Popsicle
Fiber Type: 80% Cashmere Acrylic, 20% Milk Fiber
Thickness: Light (3)
Length: 384 yds / 351 m
Weight: 4.4 oz. / 125 g
Crochet Hook Size: 4.0 - 5.0 mm
Knitting Needle Size: 3.75 - 4.5 mm
Care:
Machine wash, warm. Do not bleach. Iron, medium. Dryclean, any solvent except trichloroethylene. Dry flat in shade.

2. Hook - A size of 7/0 - I bought the hook from a crochet workshop at our company, it's a goldish-yellow hook.

How I did:

Make 30 single chains. From the 30th chain, go back 5 chains then do a slip stich on that 5th chain. Do 5 single chains, then slip stitch from the 5th chain, repeat until single chain has been tucked into already. Do it several time until you've achieved the length of the headband that you want to achieve. To close your headband, do a slip stich from the cover to cover of the band.

See how easy it is?

How I wore the headband.

I hope you guys had fun following the steps that I had to make crocheting easier.

So what y'all waiting for? Grab your crochet kits and show me your own headband!

Comment out (with pictures) your own made headband! I'll be waiting! :)

Mt. Sembrano (Day Hike)

Location: Pililla, Rizal, Philippines
Elevation: 745 MASL
LL: 14°23′00″N 121°21′57″E Difficulty: 3/9
Hours to Summit: 3-4 hours
Budget: Php 600-700

My friend Kenneth, who's my teammate from the office, organized the day hike. He invited our other teammates and so I invited my friends. He's the one who created our itinerary for the hike.

Upon going there, he rented a van that cost Php 4,000. We were 10 in the hike group so we paid 400 each. We met in Makati at 4:00 AM, we ate breakfast and left at 5:00 AM. We arrived in Pililla, Rizal at around 6:00 - 6:30 AM.

The major jump-off was located at the Ynares Multi-Purpose Building, Barangay Malaya. It was in front the Elementary School. We registered there and paid Php 20 before we start the hike.

We started the hike at around 7:00 AM, we walked through the cement road first on the 15 minutes of the hike. We reached Manggahan, the camp site area, at around 8:00 AM. The Manggahan Falls is near the area with 5-10 minutes hike going to the falls. There's another registration that costs Php 10. The locals even sell Buko at around Php 20.

We reached the North summit at around 9:30 AM. It was sunny and windy at that time. We took some pictures, ate biscuits and chocolates and had few minutes of chitchat and rest until we continue to the South Summit. We continued at 10:00 AM and arrived at around 10:30 AM.

North Summit

In between North and South Summits

South Summit

It was extremely hot and a bit windy because the South Summit is higher than the North Summit. We went down at around 12 NN and arrived at Manggahan by 1:00 PM. We had our lunch there. I brought tuna paella in can, biscuits and banana chips. Since I was already full from the lunch I took, I tried the buko juice that were being sold by the locals. It was so refreshing, I even bought 3 of it since I didn't have enough water to drink for the trail.

Some went to the Manggahan Falls, and I didn't get the chance to go anymore since I've got big blisters on my right foot. It was really painful, I even tried putting alcohol and I was really screaming because of pain. Haha! It was worthy of experience though! #BattleScars

We started our trail again by 3:30 PM. Reached the cement area by 4:30 PM. There are houses where you can take a bath but you just have to pay Php 20. We arrived at around 5:00 PM at the Barangay Hall, some of us took the shower there for free.

Itinerary:

5:00 AM- Departure from Ayala Avenue, Makati
6:300 AM - ETA to Barangay Hall, Pililla, Rizal
7:00 AM - Start Climb/Hike/Trek
8:00 AM - ETA Manggahan camp site
9:30 AM - Summit Camp Site
10:00 AM - ETA North Summit
10:30 AM - ETA South Summit
11:15: AM - Descend to North Summit
11: 45 AM - ETA North Summit

It was a very fun experience and I'm hoping to climb/hike/trek more this year. There were even lots of hugot before, during and after the hike. Rey even tallied how many hugot lines were thrown and it totaled to 82! We even called the hike as Hugot Hike.

Some of the lines were,

'Kahit naman malalakas na tao eh napapagod din.'

'Ang layo layo pa ng tingin niya, andito lang naman ako.'

'May mga bagay talaga na kailangan mo hintayin at tiisin para worth it.'

Haha! So much feels. Thanks for the good company! I really enjoyed the whole event.

Until the next hike! :)

1. Find a partner. Hanapin mo ung taong makakasabayan mong lumaban sa laro at magiging daan ng pagkapanalo niyo.

2. Try to set a play. Yung bago palang magcompetition alam niyo na yung moves na gagawin kasi napagplanuhan na at gamay niyo na yung paglalaro.

3. Be persevering. No matter how hard the game is, keep trying.

4. Huwag maingay. Instead, magconcentrate at magfocus nalang. Nothing's bad kung naka-game face on ka. #IntenseKungIntense

6. Practice hard, but play harder.

7. Dapat alam mo ung advantage mo at maicocontribute sa game. Sayang naman kasi dba kung alam mo na hindi ka na nga magaling as foosball men or goalie eh ipipilit mo pa. #CompetitiveLang

8. Be aggressive. Wag kang malamya magbantay at tumira. Play like there's no tomorrow.

9. Kung manalo kayo, aba eh congrats! Keep playing and be passionate. Kung matalo, better luck next time, tanggapin mo nalang na ganun talaga. Laro lang din naman lahat yan. :)

Foosball talaga yung pinakabet kong game sa lahat, and sad to say hindi kami nakasali sa final round. Hay! Dbale, bawi nalang ulit...next year! However, nakapasok sa final round yung isa pang group ng team namin. So as one, Go DTM!!!! :)

Uno Stacko Tower
#Breezy #Hokage

2. Be persevering. It is either kukunin mo yung block o magccounter ka/magpapass ka. It is either ipupursue mo o hindi.

Dahil kapag 'di mo inayos ay magiging 'shaky' to at matutumba to. Sayang naman dba?

4. Hangga't kaya, ipaglaban.

5. Look for other options.

8. Make every chance worth it. Bihira lang nabibigyan ng chance eh. Yun iba nga hanggang first and last chance lang. Kaya make every try worth it. Malay mo yun pala yung magpapanalo sayo/sainyo.

Worth the experience naman eh. :)
